About BatteryRealData.com

Real battery test data, built for people who actually compare cells.

BatteryRealData.com is a public battery testing and comparison project by DIY500AMP.com, created by Nelvick Berrios. The goal is simple: turn real test logs into clear charts, summaries, and warnings that help viewers understand how cells behave under load.

Why this exists

Battery listings and datasheets do not always tell the whole story. Real testing shows voltage sag, heat, usable capacity, Wh, recovery behavior, and how a cell reacts at different current levels.

What gets published

Public visitors can see processed charts, comparison rankings, test dates, datasheet specs, cell photos, live testing status, and report summaries.

What this is not

BatteryRealData is not a cell manufacturer, safety certification lab, pack design approval, or instruction manual for extreme current use. High-current results are observations, not recommendations.

The philosophy

More context, less guessing.

A single number can hide a lot. A cell may look strong by capacity, weak by voltage sag, impressive by Wh, or concerning by temperature rise. BatteryRealData puts those details beside each other so the viewer can see the tradeoffs.

The project keeps growing toward a complete battery knowledge base: datasheets, public tests, live telemetry, current-level comparisons, heat-soak temperature data, and practical notes that make the results easier to understand.
